Dysprosium sputtering target is made of rare earth element dysprosium, which is mainly used to prepare thin film materials in the electronics industry. The production process of dysprosium target requires high-purity dysprosium raw materials, generally needs purity of 99.9% or even higher, to ensure uniform density and stable structure of the target material, and to ensure the stability and consistency of the sputtering process.
As a key member of the heavy rare earth family, dysprosium plays an irreplaceable role in the fields of permanent magnetic materials, magnetic refrigeration and magneto-optical storage due to its extremely strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy and unique opto-magnetic coupling effect.

(1) Permanent magnet enhancement technology
NdFeB magnet: Dy diffusion grain boundary modification (coercivity increased by 3 times)
Nanocomposite magnet: DyFeB/Ta multilayer film (maximum magnetic energy product>60MGOe)
(2) Magneto-optical storage
TbFeCo/DyFeCo multilayer film: Kerr rotation angle up to 0.5°
All-optical magnetic switch: Dy-doped garnet film (ps-level response)
(3) Magnetic cooling material
DyAl₂ alloy film: magnetic entropy change ΔS=15 J/kg·K@5T
Micro refrigerator: Dy/Gd superlattice (temperature span 20K)
(4) Nuclear protection
Dy₂O₃ neutron absorption layer: 1mm thickness equivalent to 10cm boron steel
