Our Cobalt Iron (CoFe) Alloy targets are mainly used to prepare magnetic films for various purposes through the physical vapor deposition (PVD) process. The targets are composed of cobalt-iron alloys, which are well-known for their excellent magnetic properties and are very suitable for the production of magnetic films.
The iron-cobalt alloy targets produced by our company are made of high-purity cobalt and iron raw materials and smelted in high vacuum. The cobalt content can be 5%, 10%, 15%, 50%, 60%, 70%, etc. Since cobalt and iron have infinite solid solubility, the alloy composition is uniform. After fine heat treatment, the metal grains are small and uniform, with high purity and good density. The film layer deposited by the iron-cobalt alloy target has good soft magnetic properties and is widely used in magnetic recording fields such as magnetic heads.
High-purity cobalt-iron alloys can also reduce the sintering temperature and pressure of jewelry diamonds and be used as a catalyst for the synthesis of artificial diamonds. It can make jewelry diamonds white and crystal clear, with good purity, and can grow up to 20 carats, which is comparable to natural diamonds.

Melting: Vacuum induction melting (VIM) ensures high purity (≥99.95%)
Thermomechanical treatment: Hot rolling + annealing to optimize grain orientation
Processing: Wire cutting, surface polishing to Ra<0.1μm
Binding: Copper backplane (to improve heat dissipation efficiency)
