Description of Mo-La Alloy Foils
Molybdenum-lanthanum alloy is a high-temperature molybdenum alloy that improves the high-temperature performance and other properties of molybdenum by doping with rare-earth lanthanum.
Mo-La Alloy Foils are generally made by powder pressing, sintering, hot rolling, cold rolling, heat treatment, and precision machining. It has better ductility, higher recrystallization temperature, and stronger resistance to corrosion than pure molybdenum. Oxidation resistance, higher creep resistance, longer service life, and better electron emission performance.
Mo-La Alloy Foils are suitable for lighting, electric vacuum devices, tubular components in power semiconductor devices, internal parts of light bulbs, heating elements of glass fiber furnaces, heat shields for high-temperature furnaces, high-temperature vessels in metallurgical processing industries, annealing filaments, and electrodes.
Features of Mo-La Alloy Foils
1. Ultra-high temperature stability
The recrystallization temperature reaches 1600℃ (pure molybdenum is only 1000℃), and it still maintains good strength at 1200℃ (tensile strength ≥150 MPa).
Melting point 2610℃, short-term temperature resistance 1800℃ (vacuum/inert atmosphere).
2. Excellent creep resistance
Lanthanum oxide particles inhibit grain boundary migration, and the high-temperature creep rate is 1-2 orders of magnitude lower than that of pure molybdenum.
3. Enhanced ductility and processability
Room temperature elongation ≥15% (pure molybdenum foil is usually <10%), and can be stamped into complex shapes (such as heating element spiral coils).
Supports precision etching processing (minimum line width ≤0.1mm).
