After a one-hour hold, the compacts are pressurized with argon gas to further compact the pores, achieving a theoretical density exceeding 99% upon exiting the furnace. Diamond grinding wheels are used for rough and fine grinding, followed by polishing, to achieve the outer diameter, threads, and hexagonal corners in a single step, achieving micron-level dimensional accuracy. The threads are then cold-formed again with rolling wheels to achieve smooth, hand-friendly assembly and disassembly.

After use, the pieces can be recycled and crushed for powder mixing, allowing the tungsten carbide and cobalt to be reused, with a loss of less than 1%.
