Custom Premium Tungsten Carbide Fasteners are made from submicron tungsten carbide powder and cobalt binder, precisely proportioned by weight. The powder is ball-milled for 24 hours under nitrogen to ensure uniform particle size, then spray-dried into fluid pellets. The pellets are then placed in a mold and cold isostatically pressed at 300 MPa, achieving a green density of approximately 70%. The green pellets then enter a low-pressure sintering furnace, where the temperature reaches 1,450°C. The cobalt melts into molten metal, and capillary action firmly bonds the carbide particles together. After holding the temperature, the green pellets are pressurized with argon gas to eliminate pores, resulting in a theoretical density exceeding 99% upon exiting the furnace. The blanks undergo rough and fine grinding and polishing with diamond grinding wheels, forming the external diameter, threads, and hexagons in one step with micron-level dimensional accuracy. The threads are then cold-formed again with rolling wheels to ensure smooth thread tops and smooth assembly and disassembly.
The finished Custom Premium Tungsten Carbide Fastener has a mirror-like gloss, free of scratches or microcracks. Inspection procedures include magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic scanning, and three-dimensional coordinate sampling to ensure the absence of hidden cracks and pores. The qualified parts are first ultrasonically cleaned with alcohol and then dried; then they are individually packed into anti-static PE bags, vacuumed, and sealed with nitrogen to prevent moisture and collision.

Solid sintered tungsten carbide-cobalt with a hardness ≥ HRA 90 and a wear life over 10 times greater than alloy steel.
It remains resistant to softening at 800°C and cracking even after sudden cooling to 150°C. It is also thermally shock-resistant.
The surface is mirror-polished to Ra ≤ 0.1 µm, ensuring no galling during assembly or disassembly.
Customizable sizes (M2-M20, length ≤ 150 mm) are available with an accuracy of ±0.01 mm. Single-piece molding eliminates weld seams.
It is non-magnetic, acid and alkali-resistant, and 100% recyclable and resintered, with a cobalt loss of less than 1%.
