Chromium Sputtering Target

Chromium sputtering target has the same properties as metal chromium (Cr), Chromium is a chemical element with the symbol Cr and atomic number 24, it is a steely-grey, lustrous, hard and brittle transition metal. Chromium is also the main additive in stainless steel, to which it adds anti-corrosive properties. Chromium sputtering targets and chromium cathodes are usually used for decorative coating and tool coating.

Our chromium sputtering target is made of high-purity chromium metal material used in sputtering coating technology in the physical vapor deposition (PVD) process. It bombards the surface of the chromium target with ions, causing chromium atoms to detach and deposit on the substrate to form a film with high hardness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

Purity: 99.9% (3N) to 99.999% (5N), high purity ensures film quality.
Shape: commonly round, rectangular flat target or rotating target, size can be customized (such as length up to 4000 mm).
Performance: Chromium film has excellent corrosion resistance, high hardness and good adhesion, suitable for decorative and functional coatings.
