Incoloy 800HT has a fully austenitic structure, is a low-carbon, nickel-iron-chromium alloy under the cobalt 0,01% clause. Its alloyed classification is Incoloy 800HT, and in China, it is referred to as nickel-iron-chromium alloy. It is within the alloy category and has elevated corrosion resistance. The sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid are the only ones that the alloy has barely sufficient corrosion resistance; other than that, it has elevated corrosion resistance to nitric acid, organic acids, and oxidizing salts. Stress corrosion cracking resistance of the alloy is attributed to the high concentration of Nickel, and the high concentration of Chromium improves the alloy's resistance to pitting corrosion. It is stable at high temperatures at 500 degrees Celsius.
