The manufacturing process of TZM Molybdenum Plate
• Powder metallurgy route: -325 mesh Mo powder + TiH₂/ZrH₂/C mixture → cold isostatic pressing 200 MPa → 1500 ℃ liquid phase sintering → 1200 ℃ hot isostatic pressing (HIP), density ≥99%, grain size ASTM 7-9 grade.
• Melting and casting route: vacuum arc melting three times remelting → 1100 ℃ multi-directional rolling → stress relief annealing 900 ℃, recrystallization temperature is 250 ℃ higher than pure molybdenum.
