Our tzm alloy rod is an advanced grade alloy of molybdenum (Mo) which incorporates titanium (Ti), zirconium (Zr), and small amounts of carbon, C. Its name comes from the symbol of the component elements (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum). This alloy undergoes a remarkable improvement in the high-temperature strength and recrystallization temperature of pure molybdenum by solid solution strengthening and carbide dispersion strengthening. It is a core material in the fields of aerospace, nuclear industry and semiconductor equipment.
