Description of TZM Alloy Plate
TZM alloy plate is a molybdenum-based alloy composed of titanium, zirconium and molybdenum, with high melting point, high strength, high elastic modulus, low linear expansion coefficient, low vapor pressure, good electrical and thermal conductivity, strong corrosion resistance and good high-temperature mechanical properties. This alloy is usually prepared into bars and plates and is widely used in fields that require these characteristics, such as isostatic pressing of components, sintering and heat treatment furnaces, rotating anodes for metal medical diagnosis, ship annealing and sintering processes (temperatures up to 1400°C), injection molding hot runner nozzle molding tools, mold light alloy castings, isothermal forging of steel billets, etc. The preparation methods of TZM alloy include arc melting-casting and powder metallurgy, the latter of which can save large equipment, simplify processes, shorten production cycles, reduce consumption, increase production capacity and yield rate, and thus reduce costs.
