Molybdenum (Mo) is an ideal heating element material for vacuum furnaces, high-temperature sintering furnaces, single crystal growth furnaces and other equipment due to its high melting point (2623°C), low vapor pressure, good high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance.

 

Molybdenum heating elements for vacuum furnaces are commonly used in high temperature furnaces. Molybdenum can be used in high temperature vacuum furnaces due to its high melting point and high strength at high temperatures.

 

Molybdenum heating elements can be expected to maintain temperatures up to about 1900°C under appropriate conditions. They are widely used in high temperature resistance furnaces, sapphire growth furnaces, etc. Molybdenum heating elements are used in vacuum furnaces for high temperature treatment, sintering and other material preparation processes.

 

Due to the high melting point and high temperature resistance of molybdenum, these heating elements are able to continuously provide the required high temperature in a vacuum environment.

(1) Wire heating element
Application: small vacuum furnace, tubular furnace
Specification: diameter 0.5~5mm, spiral or wavy winding
Features: fast heating, but easy to deform at high temperature (support structure required)


(2) Rod/plate heating element
Application: large high-temperature furnace (such as sintering furnace, CVD furnace)
Specification:
Rod: diameter 5~50mm, length up to 2m
Plate: thickness 1~10mm, customized shape (such as U-shaped, W-shaped)
Features: large current carrying capacity, long life, but high cost

 

(3) Mesh heating element
Application: uniform heating scene (such as photovoltaic single crystal furnace)
