Seamless Hastelloy B2 Tube is a high-performance seamless tube made of nickel-molybdenum alloy. It is manufactured by hot extrusion or cold rolling. Seamless Hastelloy B2 Tube has no weld defects. It has excellent integrity and consistency. Seamless Hastelloy B2 Tube is mainly made of nickel (about 65%). It also contains molybdenum (28-32%), a small amount of iron (1-3%) and trace elements. It is designed for extreme corrosive environments. It is especially suitable for strong reducing acid media.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance
Seamless Hastelloy B2 Tube performs much better than stainless steel in non-oxidizing acids like hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and phosphoric acid. It can stand up to high-concentration acid corrosion at boiling temperatures.
Seamless Hastelloy B2 Tube is very stable in environments with chloride ions. It resists localized corrosion such as pitting and stress corrosion cracking.
High-Temperature Stability
Seamless Hastelloy B2 Tube can be used for a long time at temperatures below 400℃. It can also handle short-term exposure to 600℃ without losing much of its strength.
Fabrication and Welding
Seamless Hastelloy B2 Tube needs to be welded using inert gas protection (like TIG) to avoid sensitization in the heat-affected zone. After welding, it needs to undergo a solution treatment to restore its properties.
