Incoloy 20 Nickel Based N08020 tube is a nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy. It adds copper and molybdenum to enhance corrosion resistance. It also uses niobium stabilization to reduce chromium carbide precipitation and improve intergranular corrosion resistance. The tube is made by precision cold rolling or hot extrusion. It has excellent formability and weldability.
Incoloy 20 Nickel Based N08020 tube is widely used in chemical industry (sulfuric acid/phosphoric acid equipment), marine engineering (seawater desalination, FGD systems), energy (heat exchangers, nuclear fuel processing), and food and pharmaceutical industries. Its excellent acid resistance, chloride ion corrosion resistance, and high temperature stability make it a key material in highly corrosive environments. It replaces traditional stainless steel.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance
Incoloy 20 Nickel Based N08020 tube has strong resistance to sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and chloride media like hydrochloric acid. It performs better than common stainless steel (such as 316L) in chemical environments with impure acids.
The addition of copper (3-4%) further improves its resistance to sulfuric acid corrosion. Molybdenum (2-3%) helps to prevent pitting and crevice corrosion.
High-temperature Stability
Incoloy 20 Nickel Based N08020 tube can work stably at temperatures below 600°C for a long time. It has good oxidation and thermal fatigue resistance. It is suitable for heat exchange systems.
Mechanical Properties and Workability
Incoloy 20 Nickel Based N08020 tube has high strength and ductility (tensile strength ≥620 MPa, elongation ≥30%). It can be cold-worked into shape.
Incoloy 20 Nickel Based N08020 tube can be welded by common methods like TIG and MIG. Carbon contamination should be avoided to keep its corrosion resistance.
