Hastelloy C2000 square plate is a nickel-based high-temperature alloy plate. It is made into square shapes by cold rolling or hot rolling. It has excellent formability and weldability. The typical composition of Hastelloy C2000 square plate is nickel (Ni) as the base, with added chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), and copper (Cu). It also has a low-carbon design (C≤0.01%) to improve corrosion resistance. The common thickness of Hastelloy C2000 square plate is from 1.5mm to 50mm. The side length can be customized. The surface is treated by polishing or pickling. It is used for precision industrial parts manufacturing.

Features of Hastelloy C2000 square plate

 

Excellent corrosion resistance:

Hastelloy C2000 square plate has high tolerance to oxidizing media (like nitric acid and chromic acid) and reducing media (like hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid). It performs much better than stainless steels like 316L in resisting pitting and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in environments with halogens.

The addition of copper (Cu) enhances the stability of Hastelloy C2000 square plate in sulfuric acid environments. Molybdenum (Mo) improves its resistance to localized corrosion.

High-temperature stability:

Hastelloy C2000 square plate can work for a long time below 600°C. It can withstand temperatures up to 900°C in the short term. Its oxidation resistance is better than that of ordinary nickel-based alloys.

Processing and welding advantages:

Hastelloy C2000 square plate has good ductility. It can be formed by stamping and bending. It supports welding common methods like TIG and MIG. No heat treatment is needed after welding.
