YIWU YITECH TRADING recently achieved another success in its overseas specialty alloy business: a 50 kg high-density tungsten alloy ingot was successfully shipped to Singapore for local customers to use in precision counterweights and radiation protection applications. This marks the company's successful entry into the high-end Southeast Asian market for its high-density tungsten alloy products and further strengthens its overseas product portfolio.

YIWU YITECH TRADING has carefully selected high-density tungsten alloy ingots for our specialty materials due to their diverse applications and three primary attributes: high density, strength, and ease of processing. With a high tungsten content of 90%-97%, these alloys boast a density of 17- 18.5g/cm³, 2.3 times greater than iron, and 1.7 times greater than lead. This is advantageous when there is a need for compact counterweights that are high in weight, since it minimizes installation space. It also has excellent mechanical properties, with a tensile strength greater than 800MPa, high compressive strength, and resistance to deformation over time, which makes it suitable for the stable operation of precision instruments for extended periods. Moreover, it provides exceptional radiation shielding and is able to block X-rays and gamma rays. Additionally, the alloy is lead-free, which satisfies the environmental protection criteria for green production and protective efficiency. Our product specifications range from 10mm×10mm×5mm to 100mm×80mm×50mm with a surface roughness of Ra0.8 that allows the product to be directly used for processing. This minimizes customer pre-processing.

According to the head of the company's Specialty Materials Division, this collaboration stems from the precise needs of a Singaporean customer. This customer primarily supplies components to electronic equipment and medical device manufacturers in Southeast Asia. Previously, in the production of precision counterweights and radiation shielding components, they faced the challenges of bulky traditional counterweight materials and the environmentally unfriendly nature of lead-based shielding materials. After learning about YIWU YITECH TRADING's high-density tungsten alloy blocks through a cross-border trade platform, the customer initially purchased a 5-kilogram sample for testing. The results showed that the product's density and strength met expectations, with excellent processing performance and precise matching of equipment assembly requirements. The customer ultimately placed a 50-kilogram order for the production of counterweights for electronic balances and radiation shielding components for small medical devices.

It is the first time high-density tungsten alloy products made by YIWU YITECH TRADING have been exported to Singapore, which further expands the company's cross-border trade experience with specialty materials. YIWU YITECH TRADING intends to expand its product line to offer customized high-density tungsten alloy products, particularly for the aerospace and oil exploration industries. Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea will offer close partnership to these customers to serve the global market with high-quality specialty materials for new specialty materials and expand the specialty materials business of the company to a higher quality and wider scope.
