YITECH's tungsten carbide Cutting tools arrive in South Africa, empowering African mining upgrades
Zhejiang YIWU YITECH Trading Co., Ltd. secures its first deal in the African market with the successful delivery of high-strength tungsten carbide cutting tools. Drill bits and bits for coal cutters are some of the core products, and the cutting tools were shipped to a South African mining giant. The South African tools were customized to withstand significant impact and abrasion, and these tools, along with the growing cooperation in China-Africa manufacturing, are meant to further drive the robust economic cooperation between South Africa and China.
As one of the world's five largest mineral resource countries, South Africa's deep-seated mineral deposits place extremely high demands on tool wear resistance and toughness. YITECH's independently developed "ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide matrix + cobalt magnetic reinforcement coating" technology has increased the product's hardness to HRC89 and its bending strength by 30%. In actual tests with South African customers, the continuous drilling life of a single tool has exceeded 2,000 meters, which is 50% more efficient than local traditional tools. The head of the company's technical team said we have optimized the alloy composition ratio based on the high temperature and high hardness rock formations in the South African mining area to ensure stable performance of the tool in environments ranging from -20°C to 450°C.
YIWU YITECH's foray into South Africa is not only a testament to the company's robust product portfolio but also signals its plans to further expand into the African market. The company plans to further its domination in the overseas market, not only in Africa, but also in Asia and the Middle East. This will also include increasing the reputation, demand, and supply of Chinese tungsten carbide tools on a global stage.
