Description:TZM Alloy Round Rod refers to titanium zirconium molybdenum alloy rod, which is composed of the English initials of these three metals. TZM is a particle-strengthened molybdenum-based alloy containing titanium, zirconium, and carbon, the most common combination of which is 0.5% titanium, 0.08% zirconium, and 0.02% carbon.

TZM Alloy Round Rod are often made by powder metallurgy or arc casting processes, in which the powder is first pressed into an ingot, sintered, and then die cast and drawn to the desired size.Compared with pure molybdenum, TZM alloys exhibit higher tensile strength and hardness (about twice that of pure molybdenum), better creep resistance and weldability at room temperature and high temperature. Through solid solution strengthening and carbide strengthening, the high temperature strength of TZM alloy is increased to 1400 ° C compared with pure molybdenum, which has higher recrystallization temperature and tensile strength, and has great practical value.

TZM Alloy Round Rod has the characteristics of good thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient, high recrystallization temperature, low evaporation pressure, good corrosion resistance, high ductility, convenient processing and long service life,etc.
