R60702 zirconium tubing is a silvery-white metal tube with a mirror-like finish. It's lighter than similar-sized stainless steel tubing and more corrosion-resistant. We offer a wide range of outer diameters, from small capillaries (6 mm) to large diameters (219 mm), with wall thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 15 mm. Lengths up to 3 meters are available, and can be cut to your desired length, resulting in a smooth, smooth cut without further processing. The entire tube is made from industrial-grade pure zirconium R60702, with a purity of ≥99.2% and negligible impurities. Melted in a vacuum consumable arc furnace, it undergoes multiple processes, including hot extrusion, cold rolling, annealing, and straightening, resulting in fine grains, a uniform structure, and no pores or inclusions.

To enhance corrosion resistance, each tube undergoes pickling and bright annealing, resulting in a surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 μm, giving it the appearance of a freshly polished mirror and withstanding exposure to seawater or strong acids. After annealing, the tube becomes flexible and can be bent into U-shapes or spirals without cracking. Preheating is not required for welding, and even using wire of the same material, a single penetration weld is achieved, resulting in beautiful welds and simple polishing. Before leaving the factory, each tube undergoes a hydraulic pressure test, maintaining pressure for 5 minutes to ensure no leaks, and then undergoes ultrasonic testing to ensure no cracks. The certificate clearly states the batch number, dimensions, chemical composition, and mechanical properties.
