W90Cu10 heat sink is made of the composition of tungsten and copper, which has the characteristics of both materials. It has both advantages of W and Cu, such as high hardness, high strength, excellent conductivity and wear or corrosion resistance. To prevent thermal damage, heat sinks conduct excess heat away from computer chips and integrated circuits. Different electronic devices have varying sizes and shapes of heat sinks.

 

Tungsten-copper composites, with copper content (by weight) of 15 to 20 percent, are often used to make heat sinks. Our products are widely used in applications such as optoelectronics packages, Microwave Packages, C Packages, Laser Submounts, etc.

 

Feature of W90Cu10 heat sink

 

The heat sink's W90Cu10 composition is 90% tungsten and 10% copper, combined giving it good conductivity and low thermal expansion. The thermal conductivity of tungsten is responsible for effective transfer of heat from the source to the sink surface for enhanced dissipation and cooling. The low expansion coefficient ensures the part's dimensions within hostile high temperatures remain stable, greatly reducing the chances of thermal expansion deformation or damage. Additionally, W90Cu10 has good mechanical properties which makes it strong and able to withstand extreme amounts of heat.

Application of W90Cu10 heat sink

 

Tungsten copper heat sinks are widely used in applications such as optoelectronics packages, microwave packages, C packages, laser submounts, etc.  For stability of the temperature during high-load operations of modern chips integrated within systems, W90Cu10 is widely used in the cooling circuitry in modern computer and server chips. It is used in communication equipment for cooling base station power amplifiers, optical communication modules, etc. to ensure stable operation of the communication equipment. In aerospace, it cools electronic devices to ensure dependable operation of aircraft electronic systems. Additionally, in the battery management system of new energy vehicles, the W90Cu10 radiator is used to cool the battery modules, improving the safety and service life of batteries.
