Monel 400 straight weld wires are a nickel–copper alloy welding material. They are designed for welding Monel 400 alloy. Their composition matches the base material (nickel is at least 63%, copper is 28%–34%, and there are small amounts of iron, manganese, etc.). Monel 400 straight weld wires are provided in straight form. The diameter range is usually 1.6 mm–4.0 mm. They are suitable for TIG (filler is needed for TIG) and MIG welding processes. They ensure the metallurgical compatibility of the weld and the base material.
