By the end of September 2025, YIWU YITECH Trading, Co., Ltd indicated that a shipment containing 100 kgs of high-purity cobalt-chromium alloy granules had been produced, exported, and was on its way to a pre-determined destination in Germany, where it was to arrive shortly. YITECH's shipment illustrates yet another case of YITECH's growing prowess in the European market for high-end alloy materials, as well as continuing Sino-German industrial cooperation.
This batch of granules adheres to ASTM F75 composition, with 28% Cr, 6% Mo, and the balance Co. They have a particle size of 25-45 μm, a sphericity of ≥99%, and a flowability of ≤25 s/50 g, making them suitable for single-shot laser selective melting (SLM) molding. A German client, a former automotive 3D printing service provider, was experiencing a 2% breakage rate in their denture frameworks due to high inclusions and numerous shrinkage cavities from their previous supplier. Yitech provided a 2 kg sample free of charge in July. Testing in a German laboratory revealed an oxygen content of only 450 ppm, a post-print density of 99.9%, and a breakage rate reduced to 0.3%. Yitech then secured a 100 kg order.
The cobalt-chromium alloy granules exported this time, with their excellent high-temperature and corrosion resistance and high strength, are widely used in aerospace, precision medical devices, and high-end manufacturing. Germany, as a global benchmark for high-end manufacturing, has extremely stringent standards for raw material quality.
