Tungsten offers higher density (19.3 g/cm³), allowing for thinner, more compact shielding without compromising safety.
Pro-Tec II Tungsten Syringe Shield has good radiation protection performance. It can effective against beta particles (e.g., from P-32, Y-90) and gamma rays (e.g., from Tc-99m, F-18 FDG), Also reduces exposure to fingers and hands, which are particularly vulnerable during radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.
