Tungsten rhenium wire is mainly used for binding in sapphire production furnaces. Tungsten rhenium wire is mainly made of tungsten rhenium wire with a rhenium content of 25%.

 

Tungsten can be added 3%, 5%, 25% and 26% of rhenium to form tungsten rhenium alloy for high temperature thermocouple wire and the cathode wire. It has good high-temperature ductility, used in the electronics industry, nuclear industry and aerospace industries.

 

The tungsten wire after recrystallization becomes very fragile when used at high temperatures. It is easy to break in a state of oscillation. In some high-performance electric light sources, rhenium is usually added to the tungsten wire to prevent filament breakage. Tungsten rhenium wire can extend the brittleness of tungsten at lower temperatures, even at room temperature or lower.
