Tungsten crucible for sapphire growth furnace is made of the material of pure tungsten, whose purity is over 99.95%, and the density is about 18.2g/cm3.

 

Tungsten crucible is used in sapphire growth furnace because of the properties of tungsten, which are high boiling point, high melting point, thigh temperature resistance, high corrosion resistance,low thermal expansion coeffient, and high thermal conductivity. Besides tungsten crucible for sapphire growth furnace, tungsten crucible is also used in metallurgy of rare earth, ion plating and quartz glass.
