Titanium 6AI-4V Alloy Springs are the strongest and most sensitive weight springs. It has the advantages of small size, low density, good corrosion resistance, strong wear resistance, excellent biocompatibility, and long service life. It can be made into a polished surface, sandblasted, or drawn.

Titanium 6AI-4V Alloy Springs have half the density and modulus of elasticity of steel springs, but are nearly as strong as steel springs. This also enables them to meet the use requirements of the equipment with the smallest volume in practical applications and to exert the best mechanical properties.

Features of Titanium 6AI-4V Alloy Springs

 

1. High strength & lightweight
Tensile strength ≥ 900 MPa, close to high-strength steel springs (such as 60Si2Mn), but density is only 4.43 g/cm³ (about 40% lighter than steel).

Extremely high specific strength (strength/density), suitable for scenarios with strict weight reduction requirements (such as aviation, racing).

2. Excellent corrosion resistance
Resistant to seawater, sweat, disinfectants, and weak acid/alkali media, no coating protection is required (stainless steel springs need nickel plating or passivation).

Suitable for corrosive environments such as marine, medical, and chemical industries.

3. Good fatigue life
Remains elastic under high cycle times (>10⁷ times), better than ordinary stainless steel (such as 304).

Good anti-relaxation performance, small deformation after long-term load.

4. High temperature resistance
Working temperature range -200°C ~ +400°C, short-term up to 500°C (high temperature spring steel, such as Inconel 718, is more expensive).
