Description of GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls
GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls are spherical pieces of jewelry made from Grade 23 titanium alloy, which is also known as Ti-6Al-4V. This alloy is composed of titanium, aluminum, and vanadium, and it is widely used in medical, dental, and body piercing applications due to its excellent biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and strength-to-weight ratio.

Features of GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls
- Biocompatibility: GR23 titanium alloy is biocompatible, meaning it is unlikely to cause allergic reactions or rejection when inserted into the body, making it ideal for body piercing jewelry.
- Corrosion Resistance: The alloy's corrosion resistance ensures that the balls will not degrade or rust when exposed to bodily fluids and moisture.
- Strength and Durability: GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls are strong and durable, capable of withstanding the stresses of being worn as body jewelry without breaking or bending.
-Surface treatment: Polishing, smooth surface, no harm to skin.
-Widely applicable to various puncture sites: GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls can be used for tongue piercings, eyebrow piercings, navel piercings, ear piercings, and other puncture sites.
- Lightweight: Titanium is a lightweight metal, which makes the balls comfortable to wear and reduces the burden on the pierced area.
- Aesthetic Appeal: Titanium has a natural luster and can be polished to a high shine, making it visually appealing for body piercing jewelry.
Applications of GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls:
Body Piercing: GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls are used as components in various body piercings, such as genital piercings (e.g., Prince Albert, frenum, and others), where a ball is attached to the end of a barbell or ring.
Jewelry Making: GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls can be incorporated into custom jewelry designs, such as earrings or pendants, for those who prefer a more subtle or unique look.
Medical Devices: Beyond body piercing, GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls are used in medical devices where biocompatibility and corrosion resistance are critical, such as in orthopedic implants and dental prosthetics.
Application and wearing instructions of GR23 Titanium Body Piercing Balls
Accessory types
• Internal thread ball: Suitable for all straight rods, curved rods, closed rings, horseshoe rings, dumbbell rods, etc., with external threads.
• External thread ball: Suitable for all straight rods, curved rods, surface barbells, nasal septum rings, etc., with internal threads.
Steps for replacing the ball head
① Wear disposable sterile gloves on both hands to ensure that the puncture area is clean.
② Rinse/wipe the ball head and puncture rod threads with saline or medical alcohol.
③ Fix the puncture rod with your left hand, and rotate the old ball head counterclockwise with your right hand and remove it.
④ Align the new G23 titanium ball with the thread and gently screw it in clockwise until it feels tight (no excessive force is required to prevent thread slippage).
⑤ After confirming that the ball head and the rod body are not shaking, clean them again with saline.
Ease of screwing in/out
G23 titanium is hard and has smooth threads, allowing for quick tightening or loosening with one hand; it is recommended to check tightness every 2–3 weeks to prevent loosening due to daily activities.

G23 Titanium Piercing Ball Usage Precautions
• Cleaning: After showering every day, wipe the ball and the periphery of the puncture hole with 0.9% saline or medical alcohol cotton pads to avoid shower gel residue.
• Disinfection: When changing for the first time or not worn for a long time, soak the ball head in 75% alcohol for 5 minutes, then rinse with sterile water before use.
• Avoid: Try not to disassemble the ball head within 24 hours after swimming, sauna, or sea bathing to prevent infection; avoid long-term contact with chlorine bleach or perfume to prevent fading of the anodized layer.
• Storage: When not worn for a long time, place the ball head in a dry and dust-free jewelry box, away from other metal jewelry, to prevent scratches.

Additional Tips
• For people with a sensitive constitution or newly pierced (<6 weeks), it is recommended to be operated on by professionals.
• The anodized color layer is a titanium oxide film on the surface. If it is worn, it can be re-electrolyzed with low voltage, or contact the original supplier to return it to the factory for refurbishment.
