Features of ASTM F136 Medical Titanium Plate

 

1. Balance of high strength and toughness
Tensile strength ≥860 MPa, yield strength ≥795 MPa, elongation ≥10%, suitable for load-bearing implants (such as joint stems).

Fracture toughness ≥70 MPa√m, fatigue resistance is better than ordinary Ti-6Al-4V.

2. Perfect biocompatibility
Passed ISO 10993 biosafety test, nickel-free and cobalt-free, eliminating allergic reactions.

The surface can be coated with hydroxyapatite (HA) or micro-arc oxidation to promote bone integration.

3. Corrosion resistance and sterilization stability
Zero corrosion in a physiological environment, resistant to sterilization methods such as high-pressure steam, ethylene oxide, and gamma rays.

No metal ion precipitation after long-term implantation, avoiding toxicity risks.

4. Lightweight and imaging compatibility
Density 4.43 g/cm³, 40% lighter than stainless steel, reducing the burden on patients.
