Hastelloy C-4 polished bar is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. It reduces carbon and silicon content and optimizes the alloy composition. For example, it adds titanium as a stabilizer. This greatly improves its resistance to sensitization and thermal stability. The bar is made by cold drawing or hot extrusion. Its surface is finely polished. It has a smooth metallic luster and high dimensional accuracy. It can be used directly for precision machining or assembly.

Anti-sensitization and Thermal Stability
The low carbon design (≤0.015%) and the addition of titanium in Hastelloy C-4 polished bar prevent intergranular precipitation during welding or at high temperatures (650–1150°C). This reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion.
Excellent Mechanical Properties
Hastelloy C-4 polished bar has high strength and good ductility (typical tensile strength ≥690 MPa). It is suitable for manufacturing high-stress components.
