The 97WNiFe alloy bar is a high-density tungsten-nickel-iron alloy composed of approximately 97% tungsten (W), with the remaining balance consisting of nickel (Ni) and iron (Fe). This alloy is part of the heavy metal tungsten alloys (W-Ni-Fe series), known for their exceptional density, strength, and radiation shielding properties.
Key Properties:
High Density (~18.5 g/cm³) – Ideal for radiation shielding and kinetic energy applications.
Excellent Mechanical Strength – Good tensile strength and ductility compared to pure tungsten.
Corrosion Resistance – Resistant to oxidation and corrosion in various environments.
