Derivation of CoCrMo alloys came from cobalt-chromium binary alloys, transforming into cobalt-chromium-tungsten and finally cobalt-chromium-molybdenum. CoCrMo chrome steamers have an elastic modulus of 220 to 234 GPa, which is significantly higher than that of stainless steel.
