Tungsten Heavy Alloy Sheet is made of tungsten alloy material after extrusion, forging, repeated rolling, drawing, annealing, wire cutting, and polishing. It has high density, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and is easy to reprocess, has high radiation shielding performance, good environmental protection, can be stretched and bent many times, strong heat resistance and excellent corrosion resistance, and other advantages. Tungsten Heavy Alloy Sheet can be used as vacuum furnace insulation, heating elements, semiconductor components, and shielding materials.

Manufacturing process chain of Tungsten Heavy Alloy Sheet

• Powder metallurgy: hydrogen reduction powder making → cold isostatic pressing 200 MPa → 1450 ℃ pre-sintering → 1500–2000 ℃, 30–50 MPa hot isostatic pressing (HIP), density > 98%.
• Thermomechanical processing: multiple passes of warm rolling (800–1200 ℃) to roll 30 mm billets into 0.1–3 mm foils, with grains of 10–50 μm and controllable texture.

Coating and surface engineering of Tungsten Heavy Alloy Sheet

• Anti-oxidation: Under 1100 ℃, the weight gain of 0.5 μm Al₂O₃ coating is reduced from 2 mg/cm² to 0.2 mg/cm².
• Functionalization: PVD TiAlN wear-resistant layer, electroplated Ni anti-oxidation, laser cladding Stellite anti-erosion layer.
