Tungsten Grinding Quill are made of tungsten heavy alloy which are used in metalworking and woodworking. Tungsten heavy alloy grinding quill are an alternative to tungsten-carbide heavy metal grinding quill for better performance and longer tool life.

 

Tungsten heavy alloys are used for tungsten boring bars, tungsten grinding quills, tungsten arbors, tungsten spindles, tungsten tool holders and shanks to reduce vibrations and chatter. With over 90% tungsten in the material, it has a very high density and a high modulus of elasticity. The added nickel and iron also increase the toughness of the product. These characteristics make our material hard and resistant to vibration, making it an ideal material for tool shafts.
