    Feature Of WCu Alloy Welding Electrode Screw

 

1. High temperature corrosion resistance. The melting point of tungsten phase reaches 3410 ℃, and it maintains a solid structure at the center temperature of the arc (≥ 2500 ℃), avoiding thread deformation caused by high-temperature melting of traditional copper screws. Support long-term continuous welding operations, with a single replacement cycle extended to 3-5 times that of pure copper screws, reducing equipment downtime maintenance costs.
2. Dual phase synergistic conductivity and thermal conductivity. The tungsten copper composite structure forms a three-dimensional conductive network with a resistivity as low as 4.5 × 10 ⁻⁶Ω· m and a thermal conductivity of 180 W/(m · K). It quickly disperses heat during welding, avoiding strength degradation in the threaded area due to local overheating, and extending the service life of the electrode by more than 5 times.
3. Corrosion resistance. The corrosion rate of threads in humid/corrosive welding environments is less than 0.0005mm/a.

1. Strapping together new energy vehicle battery modules. During the fabrication of new energy vehicle battery, welding screw electrodes of WCu alloy are used to mount the battery modules. Because of their superior conductivity, stable welding current transmission is assured, and their high temperature resistance ensures that softening thread deformation does not occur during resistance welding at arc temperatures exceeding 2000 degrees Celsius. As a result, the battery pack structure remains reliable over time.

2. Fixation of 3C electronic devices. The internal motherboard of devices including but not limited to smartphones and tablets is held in position by WCu alloy screws. Besides acting as an anchor, these screws possess protective features against welding splatter. Furthermore, these can also withstand tremendous forces due to the unthreaded section of the screw root having a tensile strength of 850MPa. Loosening the screw will require impacting the device at a height of 1.5m, which makes it highly stable.

3. Assembly of precision medical devices. In the fixation of superconducting magnets CT machines and other devices and nuclear magnetic resonance instruments, WCu alloy screws enable sub micron assembly precision through magnetic attraction positioning while remaining non magnetic to prevent interference with device imaging.
