Features Of Tungsten Copper Resistance Welding Electrodes

 

Tungsten copper resistance welding electrodes are made from tungsten copper alloys. The electrode is made from alloyed copper and tungsten since gold has a high melting point, and is very hard, allowing the electrode to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures during welding. The electrode will not soften, deform and wear after repeated use, preserving the precision and stability of the welding points. The high conductivity of copper ensures that stable and efficient current will pass through the electrode, with sufficient heating able to occur in a short time for melting and combining at the welding area. The tungsten electrode also has excellent dross fusing properties meaning that it will not easily stick to the workpiece material during welding. This property improves the ease of electrode maintenance and replacement.
