Our tungten blocks include tungsten, tungsten-lanthanum, tungsten-aluminum, tungsten-rhenium and other metals of which all the raw materials are high-purity powder, featuring less impurity content in bar blanks, high sintering density and large deformation of the forged finished products. We lay emphasis on the control over forging technologies in the machining process, which is supplemented by an HIP process as necessary, to ensure the characteristics of high density, fine crystal grains and easy deep processing of products. Tungsten-molybdenum alloy forged products with high-density fine crystal grains have become a big feature of products.

 

According to different machining processes, tungsten bars have the conventional process density of 18.5 and the process density of more than 19.0 after HIP.

 

Basic characteristics of tungsten block


Density: 19.25 g/cm³ (second only to precious metals such as gold and platinum).

Melting point: 3422°C (the highest among all metals).

Hardness: Mohs hardness 7.5 (pure tungsten is brittle, and tungsten carbide can reach a hardness of 9~9.5).

Appearance: dark gray metallic luster, dense surface without pores.
