The Manufacturing Process of Gr1 Gr2 Titanium Crucible


• Raw materials: Grade 0 titanium sponge → three-stage vacuum arc melting → 1100 ℃ multi-directional forging → finishing rolling → 750 ℃ vacuum annealing, grain size ASTM 7-9, straightness ≤0.5 mm/m.
• Forming route:
– Deep drawing: one-time drawing Φ150 mm crucible, wall thickness 1.5 mm, yield rate 92%.
– Spinning: 0.8-5 mm wall thickness, height 50-500 mm, roundness ≤0.2 mm.
– Welding: Laser roll welding coil, weld strength coefficient ≥95%.

 

Thermal-mechanical Properties


• Working temperature: 550 ℃ in atmosphere, 1600 ℃ in vacuum/inertness;
• Creep: 500 ℃×100 h, residual deformation <0.3 %;
• Low temperature toughness: -196 ℃ impact energy ≥25 J, suitable for liquid nitrogen cooling melting.
