Incoloy 825 straight weld wires

Incoloy 825 straight weld wires are a nickel–iron–chromium alloy welding material. They are designed to match Incoloy 825 alloy (UNS N08825). The wires contain nickel (40–46%), chromium (19.5–23.5%), molybdenum (2.5–3.5%), and copper (1.5–3.0%). They also have titanium (0.6–1.2%) to stabilize carbon. The wires have an optimized metallurgical balance. This ensures that the welds have corrosion resistance, strength, and high–temperature stability close to the base metal. They can be used in TIG and MIG processes.

Features of Incoloy 825 straight weld wires

Excellent corrosion resistance: Incoloy 825 straight weld wires have excellent resistance to sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, and chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC). They perform well in harsh environments with sulfur and chloride ions.

Stable high–temperature performance: Incoloy 825 straight weld wires keep their oxidation resistance and carburization resistance at high temperatures (up to 540°C). They are suitable for welding high–temperature parts like heat exchangers and furnace tubes.

Wide process adaptability: The wire of Incoloy 825 straight weld wires melts evenly with little spatter and good weld bead appearance. The welding effect can be optimized by adjusting the shielding gas (such as pure argon or argon–hydrogen mixture).

Excellent matching: Incoloy 825 straight weld wires match the thermal expansion coefficient and mechanical properties of Incoloy 825 base metal very well. This reduces welding residual stress and the risk of cracking.
