Hot Runner TZM Bar is a titanium-zirconium-molybdenum (TZM) alloy rod used in hot runner systems. TZM alloy is made by adding small amounts of titanium (Ti), zirconium (Zr), and carbon (C) to a molybdenum base. It is produced through powder metallurgy.This alloy rod usually has a silver-gray metallic shine. It comes in different processed forms, such as sintered, forged, turned, alkali-washed, ground, and polished.
TZM has an extremely high thermal conductivity of 140W/mK, and has excellent high temperature performance, corrosion resistance and processing mechanical properties, which can meet the requirements of hot runners for long-term use at high temperatures, and can be made into nozzles of different shapes for use in hot runner systems.
TZM has good mechanical properties at high temperature and pressure so widely used in military fields, such as the valve body of torpedo engine, rocket nozzles, gas pipes and nozzles roar lining.
