As a composite material of tungsten and copper, Tungsten Copper Rotary Electrode has the characteristics of high melting point of tungsten, high heat resistance and low expansion of copper, and also has high purity, good plasticity, strong welding performance and high tool sharpness , stable internal structure, good high temperature resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity and long service life.
Tungsten Copper Rotary Electrode is often used in resistance welding, electrical contacts and heat sinks, and is most suitable for EDM. Its main role is to help people use seam welding machines to repair damaged machining tools.
Features Of Tungsten Copper Rotary Electrode
1. Together with its remarkable toughness and the high thermal and electrical conductivity of copper, the electrode possesses great resistance to wear due to high temperatures, current flow, and melting point of tungsten which is 3422oC.
2. Rotary electrodes of tungsten copper do not undergo oxidation or surface peeling during electric spark processing or welding at elevated temperatures, therefore increasing process accuracy by reducing welding slag and splattering as well as lower losses from overheating. These two effects of electric erosion and adhesion are referred to as 'anti-arc ablation' and 'anti-adhesion' respectively.
3. Elements having low thermal expansion coefficients and increased dimensional stability are formed using powder metallurgy technology which allows for the fabrication of parts with intricate contours while maintaining uniform structure; enabling precision assembly welding.

Tungsten Copper Rotary Electrode is used for high-precision processing of injection molds, optical components, precision mechanical parts, etc., with high surface finish, high accuracy, low loss, and improved mold accuracy and processing efficiency. Suitable for convex welding, butt welding, bump welding and other processes, it is resistant to high temperature and arc ablation, has high strength, good conductivity, easy cutting and processing, and improves welding quality and efficiency. It has the low expansion characteristics of tungsten and the high thermal conductivity of copper. It is suitable for power electronic devices, such as rectifier tubes, thyristors, power modules, etc., to improve equipment reliability.
