The Nickel Alloy Monel K500 Stud Bolts Nuts utilize Monel K500 alloy bar produced through a dual vacuum induction melting (VIM) and electroslag remelting (ESR) process. Homogenization annealing eliminates microsegregation, ensuring a stable grain size within ASTM Grade 5. The bar then enters a CNC turning and milling center, utilizing high-pressure internal cooling and minimal-quantity lubrication technology to simultaneously cut the double-start thread. Thread profiles include metric sizes M6–M80, US UN/UNF 1/4–3 in, and special profiles such as NPT, Tr, and serration. The heat treatment phase utilizes a dual "solution treatment + aging" process: solution treatment at 980°C followed by water quenching to fully dissolve the γ' phase; followed by air cooling at 595°C for 8 hours to induce Ni₃(Al, Ti) precipitation strengthening, achieving a hardness of HRC 35–40 while maintaining excellent toughness. Glass shot peening is used at the thread root to introduce a residual compressive stress layer exceeding –600 MPa, significantly improving fatigue resistance. The surface can be brightly passivated, electropolished, or coated with Teflon, depending on the application scenario, ensuring low friction and galling resistance even in extreme environments.
