Corrosion resistance: Inconel 625 alloy square plate strongly resists chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC). In seawater and acidic oil and gas environments, its corrosion rate is less than 0.1 mm per year.
Excellent mechanical properties: At room temperature, its tensile strength is at least 830 MPa. Its elongation is at least 30%. It has both high strength and good formability. Inconel 625 alloy square plate can be welded (with ERNiCrMo-3 welding wire) to make complex structures.
Material consistency: Inconel 625 alloy square plate is made by vacuum induction melting (VIM) + electroslag remelting (ESR). This ensures that the plate's composition segregation is no more than 0.5%. It passes the ultrasonic testing according to ASTM B564.
