Incoloy 926 square plate is a high-performance austenitic stainless steel–nickel alloy. It is famous for its excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. Incoloy 926 square plate is made by hot rolling or cold rolling. It has a flat rectangular shape. The surface is polished or pickled. It has high dimensional accuracy and smooth edges. This makes it easy for further processing. The typical composition of Incoloy 926 square plate is nickel (Ni) 24-26%, chromium (Cr) 19-21%, molybdenum (Mo) 6.0-7.0%. It also contains nitrogen (N) 0.15-0.25% and copper (Cu) 0.5-1.5%. It combines the toughness of austenitic stainless steel with the stability of nickel-based alloys.

Incoloy 926 square plate is highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC), pitting and crevice corrosion. It performs well in environments with chloride ions and acidic media like sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid.

The addition of nitrogen further improves its resistance to localized corrosion.

High-Temperature Performance:

Incoloy 926 square plate keeps high mechanical strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. It can be used at temperatures up to about 600°C.

Formability and Weldability:

Incoloy 926 square plate has good formability and can be work-hardened by cold working. It has excellent weldability and can be welded by common methods like TIG and MIG.

Stability:
